Ways to Engage
1 / Become Involved
2 / Position and Employ
3 / Come Together
1. Become a Member
Global Forest Cooperative offers two distinct membership types Donor Members and Community Members.
Donor Members are individuals or organizations that contribute financially to support GFC's mission, helping to fund our initiatives and vital projects aimed at forest conservation and local community capacity building.

Community Members are volunteers, local governments, schools, and community-based ngo's who engage with the GFC by utilizing its services and resources, thereby supporting local sustainability efforts while fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Together, these membership types strengthen the GFC's impact on global forest conservation.
2. Become a Partner
Do you want forests in your community or at your school, but don't know where to start?
Do you have a tree or forest project or grant, but lack the local knowledge or skills to get it done?
Did you successfully complete a tree planting project, but are unsure about what comes next for your new forest?
GFC believes that, "We rise by lifting others." We recognize that local governments, schools, volunteers, and community-based organizations have a tremendous responsibility to keep people safe, healthy and educated. Financial and human resources to steward public local forests are a luxury, despite the identified need for all the benefits they provide.
Let's work together! GFC can support local community action for the public good by strengthening your ability to create and sustain projects and programs for forest stewardship which can include the planting and management of trees. We can help you bridge the gap between local action and global goals.
Partnering with the GFC on planning, implementing, and managing local forest initiatives through grants and other local investments can create healthier, safer, resilient communities and vibrant, sustainable livelihoods. Together, we can address pressing local issues, uplift those in need, and build a brighter future for your community. Our partnership can make a significant difference in enhancing the quality of life for everyone in your community.
